Design cloud-based backend services at BlackLine as an Associate Software Engineer, using clean code and creative problem-solving. Work combines virtual and in-person interactions. This associate-level engineering role supports high-quality customer releases and BlackLine’s Finance Automation product suite. You will design, develop, troubleshoot, maintain, optimize, and scale backend services. You will also research technologies, evaluate performance, collaborate across teams, and communicate with people at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop BlackLine cloud-based backend services
- Troubleshoot, maintain, optimize, and scale existing services
- Research, test, benchmark, and evaluate new technologies
- Define and build recent features with other teams
- Write clean code supporting high-quality customer releases
