Lead technical verification programs at Remitly, connecting AML controls with engineering, compliance, and product stakeholders in a hybrid work model. As a Principal Program Manager, Technical, you will own verification control lifecycle management within Identity & Trust. You will strengthen first line of defense controls across products and geographies, including wallets and lending. The work connects technical systems to regulatory intent while supporting incident response, audit readiness, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead verification rule design, testing, and effectiveness reviews
- Partner with product teams on recent control designs
- Maintain transaction monitoring continuity for incidents and audits
- Use automation and AI tooling across control lifecycles




- Translate risk insights into business and system requirements

Requirements:
- Eight or more years in program management or risk control ownership
- Experience with AML, FinCrime, or regulatory programs
- Understanding of screening, document validation, and sanctions rules
- Technical fluency and advanced operational data analysis skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; CAMS preferred Bring technical program leadership, AML expertise, and control analysis to Remitly’s verification programs across global products.
