Investigate complex automobile claims remotely for Allstate in the Ontario Greater Toronto Area, applying policy interpretation and customer service expertise. Work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, subject to department needs.
As a Claims Advisor, Auto, you will review insurance policies, determine coverage and liability, and settle claims. The work includes impaired, unlisted operator, and non-drivable automobile claims. You will collaborate with customers, towing and repair suppliers, other insurers, and law enforcement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review insurance policies and applicable coverages
- Investigate complex automobile claims and determine liability
- Settle claims under organizational policies and practices
- Collaborate with customers and service suppliers
- Coordinate with insurers and law enforcement
Requirements:
- High school education or equivalent
- Three to five years of customer service experience
- Previous auto adjuster experience preferred
- Knowledge of interpreting insurance policies
- Proficient keyboard skills and computer literacy
