Bring pastoral care and spiritual support to Edmonton Centre of Hope residents, staff, and volunteers through compassionate, client-centred service.

The Salvation Army seeks a Chaplain providing Christian-based emotional and spiritual care within Edmonton Centre of Hope services. You will support people across faith backgrounds, collaborate with other chaplains, and contribute to case management. The work includes spiritual assessments, care plans, programs, and crisis response.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide spiritual care and follow up on care plans
- Coordinate chapel services, worship events, and Bible studies
- Support clients through emergencies and crisis situations
- Participate actively in case management activities
- Maintain accurate statistics, reports, records, and files

Requirements:

- High school graduation
- Ordination and Clinical Pastoral Education or equivalent
- At least two years’ pastoral care or chaplaincy experience
- Experience with vulnerable populations and mental health issues
- Empathetic communication and strong skilled boundaries

Use pastoral care, trauma-informed practice, and spiritual support skills as an Edmonton Centre of Hope Chaplain.
