Deliver compassionate nursing care at Bulkley Lodge as a Registered Nurse in Smithers, working rotating day shifts from 06:00 to 18:00.

Under a manager’s general supervision, the Registered Nurse follows Northern Health priorities, BCCNM standards, and a patient and family-centered care model. Working with the interprofessional team, this RN provides direct care in an acute medical unit and wide-ranging clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess patients using clinical and diagnostic reasoning
- Plan, provide, and evaluate direct nursing care
- Apply prescribed technical, therapeutic, and safety interventions
- Communicate with patients, families, staff, and care teams
- Educate patients and caregivers about health and well-being

Requirements:

- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
- Registered practicing RN registrant with BCCNM
- Organize and prioritize work effectively
- Operate related equipment and computer applications
- Physical ability to perform position duties
