Support youth programming in Haines Junction using positive engagement and activity facilitation. This entry-level position works directly with children and youth.

At BGC Yukon’s Haines Junction Satellite, the Program Lead supports secure, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate programs. You will help deliver recreational, educational, cultural, and life-skills activities. The position develops communication, teamwork, and leadership through practical experience, training, and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support daily programming for children and youth
- Facilitate games, crafts, activities, and special events
- Prepare materials, equipment, and program spaces
- Build positive relationships and encourage participation
- Gather feedback and communicate updates to the Programs Manager

Requirements:

- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification
- Interest in working with children and youth
- Understanding of positive behaviour guidance practices
- Class 4 Driver's License is an asset
- Willingness to learn and receive coaching
