Lead financial reporting and analysis at Lee Valley as a full time Senior Accountant supporting month-end close, forecasts, and management decisions.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, this senior role combines hands-on accounting with planning and reporting. You will prepare financial statements, investigate variances, develop financial models, and support budgeting. The position also contributes to audits, controls, and regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Complete journal entries, reconciliations, and close activities
- Explain variances against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods
- Develop reports and models supporting business decisions




- Prepare year-end audit schedules and supporting information

Requirements:

- CPA designation and university degree in accounting or related field
- At least three years of relevant financial experience
- Strong knowledge of ASPE and reporting principles
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and business intelligence skills
- Strong analysis, judgment, communication, and attention to detail
