The Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board seeks an Educational Assistant for Classroom Assistant/Physical Care duties. The assignment continues until approximately November 27, 2026, without extending beyond June 30, 2027. Relevant preparation, behavior strategies, and communication skills are central requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide classroom assistance for students with multiple needs
- Support students with physical needs, Autism, and developmental delays
- Apply behavior modification strategies when supporting students




- Use augmentative communication strategies as appropriate
- Use Google Classroom, Google Meet, and digital learning resources

Requirements:

- Two-year relevant post-secondary diploma
- Experience supporting students with multiple needs
- Experience with behavior and anger management needs
- Ability to work effectively in a team workplace
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
