Maintain high-speed packaging and processing equipment at Agrocrop Exports Ltd. as a Maintenance Technician with hands-on mechanical troubleshooting skills. The scheduled hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will support equipment reliability across a up-to-date private label consumer packaging facility. Responsibilities combine mechanical repairs, electrical diagnosis, preventive maintenance, and production support. Your work contributes to processing pulses, beans, lentils, peas, and grains for retailers across North America and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine mechanical maintenance, repairs, and adjustments
- Replace and align bearings, belts, chains, shafts, and gearboxes
- Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and actuator systems
- Assist with equipment changeovers,
calibration, and production setup
- Identify failure root causes and recommend improvements
Requirements:
- Experience with process and high-speed packaging equipment preferred
- Relevant manufacturing electrical and mechanical experience
- Technical and analytical skills for equipment problem resolution
- Food industry or high-speed packaging experience considered an asset
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
