Operate tractor-trailer equipment for CN in Montreal, Quebec, transporting engineering materials while prioritizing safety, inspections, and railway operations.

This Work Equipment Truck Driver position supports CN’s Engineering division and railway track maintenance activities. You will operate qualified on- and off-track heavy equipment, inspect machinery, and handle materials. The role requires bilingual French and English communication, formal training, and successful qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate tractor-trailer combinations and qualified heavy equipment
- Secure, load, handle, and unload engineering materials
- Inspect equipment, maintain it, and report defects
- Support track repair, maintenance, and inspection activities




- Follow highway regulations, railway rules, and safety procedures

Requirements:

- Previous tractor-trailer operating experience
- Commercial driver’s licence with appropriate class and air brake endorsement
- Valid medical card and high school diploma
- Availability for shift work, overtime, travel, and outdoor duties
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally 70 pounds
