Sous la supervision du contrôleur, le ou la technicien(ne) comptable participera à l’ensemble des activités comptables et financières de l’organisation. La personne titulaire du poste assurera l’exactitude des opérations comptables, contribuera à la production de l’information financière et participera à l’amélioration continue des processus financiers de l’entreprise. Effectuer les dépôts bancaires et concilier les encaissements. Effectuer les conciliations bancaires. Participer aux initiatives d’amélioration continue des processus comptables et financiers. DEC en comptabilité, en administration ou dans un domaine connexe. Excellente maîtrise de Microsoft Excel et des logiciels comptables. Bonnes aptitudes pour la communication orale et écrite en français et en anglais. Vous serez appelé(e) à communiquer quotidiennement avec des collaborateurs unilingues anglophones. Under the supervision of the Controller, the Accounting Technician will participate in the organization’s accounting and financial activities. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy of accounting transactions, contribute to the preparation of financial information, and participate in the continuous improvement of the company’s financial processes. Manage and follow up on accounts receivable and accounts payable. Record and apply payments received through Moneris to the appropriate customer accounts. Prepare bank deposits and reconcile cash receipts. Produce reports on accounts receivable and past-due accounts. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records. Respond to customers and suppliers regarding invoices, payments, and account balances. Perform bank reconciliations. Provide support as required during external audits. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to accounting and financial processes. Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Accounting, Administration, or a related field. ~Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. ~ Strong oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
