Food and Beverage (F&B;) Rocky View Foundation is a not-for-profit affordable housing provider dedicated to improving the quality of life for low and moderate-income individuals and families. Our mission is to develop, manage, and maintain affordable housing solutions that support sustainable communities. The Second Cook plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals to our residents. This position involves working closely with the kitchen team to prepare nutritious meals that meet our senior residents' dietary requirements and preferences. The Second Cook must adhere to food safety and sanitation standards while demonstrating culinary creativity and excellent cooking skills. Menu Planning Food Safety Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment at all times, following food safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures. Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in good working order. Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and effective kitchen operations. Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred is an asset. Minimum of one year of experience in a professional kitchen. #
