Manage high-volume B2B collections and credit decisions in an apparel distribution operation, working Monday to Friday in office. Support receivables and accounting activities.
Reporting to the Credit Manager, this specialist focuses primarily on credit and collections. The work includes customer payment issues, credit controls, order releases, and receivables support. Excel and ERP or accounting systems are central to accurate account management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact customers, secure payment commitments, and maintain collection records
- Review aging reports and assess credit risk
- Monitor credit limits, applications, account reviews, and order releases
- Resolve disputes, deductions, discrepancies, and credit holds
- Prepare collection reports and support order flow
Requirements:
- Two or more years of B2B credit and collections experience
- Direct customer collections experience in high-volume environments
- Experience with payment arrangements, AR aging, and credit holds
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP or accounting systems
- Post-secondary Accounting, Finance, or Business education, or equivalent experience
