This Commercial Credit Analyst program provides structured development across BMO Commercial Bank, supporting Middle Market Diversified Industries or select Specialty Finance teams. During the first 12 months, you receive cohort-based learning, classroom instruction, eLearning, case studies, mentoring, on-the-job training, and performance feedback. The role supports lending decisions for recent and existing commercial banking loans and credit solutions. You will analyze client information, prepare credit summaries, assess repayment capacity, and support portfolio monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform financial analysis and calculate client credit metrics
- Assess creditworthiness, repayment capacity, risks, and industry trends




- Recommend loan structures, collateral, and credit decisions
- Monitor portfolio performance, compliance, and deteriorating conditions
- Support relationship growth, deal execution, and loan renewals

Requirements:

- Three to four years of relevant credit or lending experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; finance, accounting, or business preferred
- Financial analysis and data analysis tools proficiency
- Credit risk assessment and portfolio management knowledge
- Microsoft Office, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
