Design therapeutic activities for Complex Continuing Care clients as a Recreation Therapist with Quinte Health, supporting quality of life through recreation.

This temporary full time position is expected through August 2027. You will serve clients in CCC units while collaborating with healthcare professionals. The work includes intervention planning, client progress documentation, family communication, and community resource recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and evaluate recreational therapy interventions
- Identify equipment and space needs with the healthcare team
- Research intervention ideas and recommend community resources
- Record assessments and progress reports in client records
- Orient, support,



and supervise volunteers and students

Requirements:

- Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related recreation qualification
- Related experience in geriatric recreation services
- Ability to communicate with elderly clients
- Ability to make independent client care decisions
- Satisfactory Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
