Coordinate yard logistics and expediting services at MATRIX’s Yellowknife shop, supporting safe equipment handling, freight preparation, and asset readiness. This experienced position reports to the Northern Operations Manager.

The Yard and Expediting Coordinator supports yard organization, inventory tracking, equipment operation, transportation, and operational readiness. Duties include working with the Expeditor and Buyer, preparing shipments, and responding to changing priorities. The role requires detail focus, initiative, communication, and protected work practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain clean, safe, organized, operationally ready yard and shop areas
- Track assets, equipment, supplies, and materials internally and externally
- Load, unload, place, and secure truck and trailer materials
- Coordinate freight handling, shipments,



pickups, deliveries, and material movement
- Prepare loads and manifest air freight and passenger flights

Requirements:

- Experience supporting yard, warehouse, logistics, or equipment operations
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong detail orientation, multitasking, and communication skills
- Computer literacy and experience using Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver abstract
