The Finance department is looking for a regular full time Budget Analyst I to join their team. In this position you will work with one or several distinct departments within the City of North Vancouver and will participate in the planning, coordination and administration of the annual operating and capital budgets. prepare various reports and related materials; and conduct or participate in special studies and projects as required. You will have considerable financial and/or budget management experience in a similar position, preferably in municipal government, with knowledge of Public Sector Accounting Board standards. Although a qualified designation (CPA or equivalent) is preferred,



consideration will be given to suitably qualified applicants who have made significant progress towards a recognized accounting qualification. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Familiarity with financial management systems such as PeopleSoft is an advantage. 45.48 to $53.70 per hour (Monday to Friday, with one scheduled day off (Monday or Friday) approximately each three-week scheduling cycle.
