This regular full time Maintenance Technician works in the Mechanical/Trades department within Engineering & Infrastructure. The position supports facility operations through equipment inspections, repairs, specialized projects, renovations, and construction trade work. It also requires plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building systems knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and repair equipment and facility systems
- Perform programmed preventative maintenance and component replacements
- Maintain HVAC systems and associated equipment
- Service plumbing, pumps, motors, and refrigeration equipment
- Maintain equipment logs and troubleshoot building systems
Requirements:
- Two-year diploma in building systems maintenance
- Expertise repairing equipment with power tools
- Experience interpreting blueprints and building automation systems
