Under RN and RPN guidance, the Personal Care Assistant contributes to routine patient care within agreed plans. The work includes duties aligned with the classification or clinical specialty and supports a safe environment for patients. Candidates should demonstrate communication, collaboration, and continuing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide routine patient care according to agreed plans
- Complete duties aligned with clinical specialty requirements
- Promote physical, social, and emotional patient well-being
- Advocate for and support a culture of patient safety




- Maintain a safe and healthy work setting

Requirements:

- Personal Support Worker certificate from a recognized college
- Relevant acute-care experience and current CPR certification
- Working knowledge of infection control practices
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work all shifts with satisfactory attendance
