As a Critical Care Paramedic, thisposition will be based in Whitehorse and be required to provide coverage for shortages in communities with various crews and working a variety of shifts based on operational requirements. The Yukon's Emergency Medical Services (YEMS) teamdelivers a wide scope of pre-hospital care. We deliver medical interventions, treatments, and quality care in every corner of the Yukon. Reporting to the Superintendent, Air Ambulance theCritical Care Paramedicwill employ professional Critical Care Life Support skills to provide pre-hospital and inter-facility treatment and transportation to the general population.

Recent experience delivering pre-hospital emergency care at the Advanced Life Support (ALS) level Recent experience working as a Critical Care Paramedic TB Screening, Security clearance including vulnerable sector check, Valid class 4 driver's license and Maintaining current CCP and/or ACP certification. Shift work, including weekends and standby, wearing a uniform, and maintaining all conditions of employment.
