Raise is hiring this Training and Competency Assurance Advisor for its client, an industry leader in Canadian oil and natural gas. The six-month contract supports workforce capability, compliance, and operational excellence. You will coordinate training, administer qualification processes, and help employees and contractors meet safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and facilitate technical, safety, and operational training
- Administer competency and qualification processes for employees and contractors
- Assess training needs and identify competency gaps
- Maintain records within learning management systems




- Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

- Eight or more years in training, competency, or operational experience
- Experience in Oil and Gas, Oil Sands, Mining, or heavy industry
- Experience facilitating adult learning and competency programs
- Understanding of safety, qualifications, and compliance requirements
- Experience with learning management and competency tracking tools
