Deliver freight as a Class 1 P&D; Owner Operator with Midland Transport, handling local tractor-trailer routes from Kentville, Nova Scotia.

In this position, you will provide professional service through timely deliveries, secure unloading, and clear communication. Responsibilities include operating the tractor-trailer, inspecting it before, during, and after trips, reporting incidents, and following company rules. Monday-to-Friday hours are 10:00 to 20:00.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete scheduled local freight deliveries
- Handle shipment weights and protect freight from damage
- Maintain communication with dispatch and customers
- Follow safety regulations, traffic laws, and company procedures
- Report incidents, accidents, injuries, or damage promptly

Requirements:

- AZ driver's licence with three years safe driving experience
- Tractor truck manufactured within the past eight years
- High school diploma or GED
- Clean driver's abstract and criminal search
- Safety-conscious, reliable, and effective communicator
