This Quarry Supervisor role manages daily quarry activities against quantity and quality targets. You will lead safety meetings, monitor equipment, coordinate repair call-ins, and oversee shift quality control. The position also directs hourly crew members while maintaining accurate operational records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate continuous quarry activities and daily production targets
- Lead tailgate and monthly safety meetings
- Monitor malfunctions and trigger corrective actions
- Coordinate repair crews during mechanical breakdowns
- Maintain off-hours plant surveillance and shift logs
Requirements:
- Technical College Degree or High School Diploma
- Two to three years related production or maintenance experience with degree
- Five years related production or maintenance experience with diploma
- Knowledge of aggregates processes and quality control
- Robust people management and communication skills
