As a Mental Health and Substance Use Outpatient Services Nurse, you provide adaptable treatment services within a psychosocial rehabilitation model. You work with clients experiencing mental illness and concurrent substance use concerns. The interdisciplinary team includes psychiatry, nursing, social work, occupational therapy, psychology, and counselling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct intake and mental health assessments
- Develop treatment plans and provide crisis intervention
- Complete outreach visits and emergency referrals
- Provide counseling,



education, and support groups
- Coordinate access across the care continuum

Requirements:

- Diploma in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
- Three years’ recent related treatment-services experience
- Current BCCNM registration as RN or RPN
- Valid British Columbia driver’s license
- Broad knowledge of addictions treatment and psychopharmacology
