Process high-volume invoices for FCC Canada’s Go Rail Expansion program, using invoice validation and advanced Microsoft Excel. Support payment accuracy in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will support this major transit infrastructure program through accurate, timely financial processing. The work includes purchase order matching, vendor reconciliations, payment preparation, discrepancy resolution, and audit-ready records. You will also manage spreadsheet-heavy processes and generate reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process high volumes of invoices accurately
- Match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documentation
- Reconcile vendor and credit card statements
- Prepare and validate weekly payment proposals
- Resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- Three or more years of Accounts Payable experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- Advanced Microsoft Excel formula proficiency
- Excellent communication and structured problem-solving skills
- SAP or Aconex familiarity is advantageous
