Barnhart’s Grande Prairie branch needs an apprentice for its maintenance team. You will service Link-Belt and Tadano cranes, trailers, trucks, and support equipment. The work covers electrical, fuel, hydraulic, suspension, and air brake systems without major engine or transmission rebuilds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance
- Complete oil changes, brake work, tire service, and suspension repairs
- Support annual crane certification requirements
- Troubleshoot electrical, fuel,
hydraulic, and air brake systems
- Record maintenance activities using logbooks and a tablet
Requirements:
- First or second year Heavy Equipment Technician certification
- Experience with heavy equipment or cranes preferred
- Mechanical aptitude across multiple equipment systems
- Ability to work independently and locally
- Valid driver’s license
