Our client, a leading independent public accounting firm, is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Analyst to join their team in Burlington, Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting skilled looking to grow their expertise in Canadian taxation while working alongside experienced tax professionals and supporting a diverse portfolio of clients. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing tax returns, conducting tax research, and assisting with tax planning and compliance activities for individuals, corporations, trusts, and owner-managed businesses. Prepare and review corporate, personal, trust, and occasional partnership tax returns. Prepare and file tax elections, forms, and information returns accurately and within established deadlines. Assist senior team members with tax planning engagements and identify opportunities to optimize tax outcomes Research Canadian income tax legislation, regulations,



and Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) guidelines. Support the resolution of routine and complex tax matters. Manage multiple assignments and competing deadlines while maintaining high-quality client service. Maintain accurate time records and ensure work meets established quality standards. Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Interest in pursuing the CPA In-Depth Tax Program. Minimum of 12 months of experience in tax, accounting, or a similar role within a public accounting firm, including at least one busy season Working knowledge of Canadian income tax legislation and tax compliance requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with CaseWare, CaseView, and TaxPrep is an asset.
