Within Global Product Information, this role maintains tools for authoring Dematic product documentation in DITA XML. You will support technical writers creating materials for mechatronics, software, and solutions products. The work includes conversion, publishing, troubleshooting, and content quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain tools converting Word documents into DITA XML
- Enhance DITA XML authoring tools for technical writers
- Improve plugins publishing DITA documentation to HTML and PDF
- Troubleshoot conversion and publishing errors
- Review converted content and verify accuracy with technical writers
Requirements:
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Drive to improve processes
- Valuable collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with XML, XSLT, Visual Basic, JavaScript, or CSS beneficial
