Kelliher School needs an Educational Assistant I to help students participate, learn, and develop independence. The temporary part-time assignment starts as soon as possible.

At Prairie Valley School Division, this Educational Assistant I position supports K-8 students at Kelliher School. The work includes personal care, life skills coaching, academic reinforcement, documentation, communication, and positive behaviour supports. Duties are directed by administrators and teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist students with intensive needs across five support areas
- Follow accommodation plans for personal care procedures
- Support learning through assignment clarification and reinforcement
- Collaborate with student teams and facilitate peer participation




- Complete programming records and attend conferences when requested

Requirements:

- Grade 12 or equivalent education
- Interest in Educational Assistant, First Aid, and specialized training
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and parents
- Adaptable approach to changing student and school needs
- Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting 30 pounds
