Shannex is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support residents and lead quality health services. The position involves care planning, medication administration, documentation, treatments, and communication with medical professionals. You will also support staff supervision and individualized resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, document, and direct resident needs
- Provide leadership to health services staff
- Administer and record prescribed medication within scope
- Develop, implement, and evaluate resident care plans
- Apply dressings and treatments according to orders
Requirements:
- Active Association of New Brunswick Licensed Practical Nurses registration
- Valid CPR and First Aid or BLS Certification
- Adaptable availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Minimum six shifts per quarter across all shift types
- Clear vulnerable sector criminal record screening upon hire
