Provide person-centered care as a Health Care Aide at Easter Seals McQueen Residence in Edmonton, supporting residents’ daily needs and independence. Available day, evening, and night shifts offer different scheduling options.

Reporting to the Provincial Health Lead, you will deliver hands-on personal care under regulated health qualified direction where applicable. Support residents in long-term supported living while following care plans, organizational policies, and Alberta Health Services standards. Maintain safety, dignity, and quality of life through compassionate support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene
- Support safe transfers, ambulation, mobility aids, and mechanical lifts
- Document health changes, observations, incidents, and care activities




- Assist medication administration where permitted by policy
- Provide meal support, housekeeping, hygiene, and infection prevention

Requirements:

- Alberta Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized program
- Active status on the Alberta HCA Directory
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- Recent Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Clearance
- Comfort with manual handling procedures and mobility aids
