You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment to ensure the safe and effective operation of wastewater treatment facilities. Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems and equipment. Perform wiring and installation of control systems, motors, lighting, and low, medium, and high-voltage equipment. Plan your work and source or purchase required materials. Prepare sketches and update electrical drawings and plans. Help train and support electrical apprentices. BC or Interprovincial Trade Qualification Certificate as a Journeyman Electrician. Basic knowledge of motors, controls, pneumatics, electronics, hydraulics, computer interfaces, and drafting.
