Lead IFRS reporting and financial operations as a Financial Controller in Downtown Vancouver, working fully in office across Canadian and US operations.

This permanent, full-time Financial Controller reports to the Senior Director, Finance. You will lead accounting professionals, oversee reporting, and strengthen controls. The role combines CPA-level accounting expertise, people leadership, and process improvement within a publicly traded, direct-to-consumer retail organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, coach, and develop three accounting professionals
- Oversee closes, consolidations, IFRS reporting, and financial statements
- Strengthen controls, policies, reconciliations, and audit readiness
- Coordinate audits, reviews, MD&A;, filings, and executive reporting




- Champion automation, process improvements, and scalable financial systems

Requirements:

- 9+ years of progressive accounting experience
- CPA designation and demonstrated people leadership
- Advanced IFRS and public company reporting expertise
- Canadian and US tax knowledge with consolidation experience
- Strong communication, judgment, and stakeholder management skills
