Champion SQDC improvement across operations.The Continuous Improvement Manager serves as GATX’s site CI champion in Moose Jaw. This senior role applies Lean methods, operations management, strategy, and analytical problem-solving to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. The position works with department managers, service center managers, and shop floor personnel.Key Responsibilities:
Assess business opportunities and develop improvement strategiesEvaluate facilities and identify operational improvement opportunitiesDevelop integrated manufacturing systems and proceduresLead Daily Visual Management across facility work centersAnalyze production costs, waste, layouts, and work methodsRequirements: Master’s degree in operations management, industrial engineering, or business administrationMinimum five years in analytical or facility management rolesLean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferredExperience with VSM, Kanban, 5 S, Kaizen, and TPMFluent English and willingness to travel five to ten percentApply Lean expertise, SQDC leadership, and analytical skills to transform GATX railcar repair operations in Moose Jaw.#J-18808-Ljbffr
