This role is for a highly organized person with strong communication skills, who is driven, hardworking, and looking for unlimited growth. Please note: this role does require flexibility to work a rotating schedule between days & afternoons. You will also be required to work rotating weekends. and resolving operational issues to keep freight moving efficiently ABOUT YOU Successful Scotlynn Candidates Are: Ambitious and driven self-starter High levels of organization, written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills Excellent computer skills The ability to work well independently and collaboratively with a team Work experience in transportation, trucking, dispatch, or logistics roles is an asset HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED WITH SCOTLYNN Handle high call volumes in a courteous, productive manner Work with carriers and drivers to monitor loading, unloading, and the time management of freight transit Assign and track vehicles, trailers, and equipment Respond to real-time operational issues and escalates when needed Assist Fleet Managers in communication and updates required to drivers and customers Performing data entry accurately maintaining up-to-date information in the Transportation Management System and record management system Develop long-term relationships with drivers by providing them with excellent customer service Support incident reporting and communication flow during disruptions Proactively identify and solve issues with Fleet Managers YOUR COMMITMENT This is a full-time, permanent role Work in office Monday-Friday Shifts will cycle through 7am - 4pm, 8am - 5pm, and 12pm - 9pm Mandatory weekends on a rotating basis, with the following Wednesday off Potential need for after-hours Additional Information Scotlynn is an equal opportunity employer and will seek to accommodate the needs of individuals with disabilities in a manner that most respects their dignity.
