Physicians participate in on-call service, ward service, electro-diagnostic interpretation, echocardiography, and teaching medical students and residents. Cardiac services include a 29-bed CCU/telemetry ward, stress echocardiography, catheterization, and specialized clinics.
Key Responsibilities: Participate in the cardiology on-call service
Provide cardiology ward service
Interpret electro-diagnostic studies, including echocardiography
Supervise and teach medical students and residents
Support inpatient and outpatient cardiac services
Requirements: Hold CMPA membership
Be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC
Hold FRCP(C) or equivalent
Meet stated CMPA, CPSBC Full, and FRCPC qualifications
