The Clinical Placement Operations Manager oversees clinical education for the Master of Physical Therapy program. This position plans placements, supervises staff, liaises with practice partners, and supports policies and procedures. The work helps deliver more than 700 annual student clinical placements across Vancouver, Surrey, Prince George, Victoria, and Okanagan.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver short-term and long-term clinical placements
Supervise clinical education staff across distributed program sites
Match students to placements and track progression




Analyze clinical education data and prepare reports
Manage placement agreements, outreach, and career development events
Requirements: Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline
One to two years of related experience, or equivalent
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel
Demonstrated team management and project management skills
Bring clinical education operations, staff supervision, data analysis, and stakeholder coordination to UBC’s Physical Therapy program.
