Lead municipal wastewater treatment expertise with AECOM in the Greater Toronto Area, specializing in Membrane Bioreactor systems and complex infrastructure projects.
As a recognized wastewater treatment subject matter expert, you will support Ontario, Canadian, and global wastewater practices. The position spans planning, feasibility, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational optimization. You will advise teams and clients on regulatory compliance, quality management, innovation, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities: Lead planning, design, optimization, and implementation of treatment facilities
Advise on MBR systems, nutrient removal, reuse, and biosolids
Review technical reports, calculations, studies, and evaluations
Prepare specifications, contract documents,



procurement packages, and deliverables
Support clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary project teams
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Applied Science
12+ years municipal wastewater treatment experience
4+ years leading technical professionals
Extensive experience implementing Membrane Bioreactor facilities
Knowledge of regulations, standards, and industry best practices
Apply technical leadership, MBR expertise, and project delivery experience to strengthen AECOM’s wastewater practice across Ontario.
