School District 71 seeks a temporary French Learning Support Teacher for Ecole Secondaire Mark R. Isfeld Secondary. The Secondary Learning Support Teacher supports students experiencing learning challenges through direct instruction, consultation, assessment, and transition planning. Collaboration with families, classroom teachers, school teams, district personnel, and community partners is central.
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct instructional support and targeted learning interventions
Develop and monitor Individual Education Plans and Learning Plans
Conduct assessments and inform instructional planning




Support inclusive accommodations, adaptations, modifications, and strategies
Coordinate transitions to post-secondary education, employment, and adult services
Requirements: Written and oral French language fluency
Valid British Columbia Teaching Certificate
Degree or diploma in inclusive or special education
Experience supporting diverse learning needs
Secondary teaching experience and BC curriculum understanding
