Shape customer-centered supply chain solutions at Dematic through proposal development, cost estimating, and cross-functional collaboration. This role supports Lifecycle Solutions and Services contracts and Modernizations & Upgrades projects.
As a Solution Development Engineer, you will assess customer needs and define solution requirements. You will prepare scopes, staffing assumptions, application designs, and cost estimates. The work includes coordinating proposal teams, presenting solutions, and supporting transitions to Operations.
Key Responsibilities: Develop service contract and modernization solutions
Review specifications, operational requirements, and site information
Build scopes, concepts, designs, and costing workbooks
Coordinate proposal inputs, schedules, and status reporting




Facilitate awarded-scope handoffs to Operations teams
Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred in engineering, business, or supply chain
Typically three to five years of related experience
Knowledge of material handling, controls, software, and proposals
Solid communication, leadership, organization, and collaboration skills
Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel proficiency, including PivotTables
Apply solution development, estimating, and stakeholder-management skills to accurate Dematic proposals serving complex supply chain needs.
