Reporting to the Clinical Manager, Emergency Services, this Registered Practical Nurse provides quality patient care within full scope of practice. The position requires nursing registration, B.C.L.S., and acute care experience. Candidates should bring conflict resolution, patient education, workload organization, and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities. Venipuncture, 12/15 Lead ECG, and Meditech experience are also required competencies.
Key Responsibilities: Assess patients using robust clinical assessment skills
Perform venipuncture and 12/15 Lead ECG procedures
Provide quality patient care and patient education




Organize workload within changing emergency services demands
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Requirements: Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration certificate
Two years acute care experience within five years
Current B.C.L.S. Certificate
Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation Certification within six months
Meditech experience and full RPN scope practice
Bring emergency assessment, communication, and nursing expertise to Registered Practical Nurse practice at Brant Community Healthcare System.
