Lead aeroelasticity analysis for Bombardier aircraft using MSC Nastran and finite element models. Versatile and hybrid work policies apply when applicable.
As a Professional Senior Engineer, you will support aircraft design studies and in-service airworthiness within Loads and Dynamics. Your expertise will connect unsteady aerodynamics, structures, weight, inertia, and frequency-based data analysis. You will also contribute to testing and certification.
Key Responsibilities: Analyze aeroelastic and aeroservoelastic aircraft behavior
Maintain finite element models supporting aeroelastic analysis
Support computational aeroelasticity research and development
Coordinate with Advanced Design, Mass Properties, and Control Laws
Support flutter, vibration, wind tunnel,
and certification activities
Requirements: At least nine years of aerospace industry dynamics analysis experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
Experience with MSC Nastran dynamic and aeroelastic analysis
Experience analyzing frequency-based data and aeroelastic FEM
Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
Use advanced aeroelasticity, testing, and data analysis capabilities to support Bombardier Aerospace aircraft engineering programs.
