Key Responsibilities: Obtain comprehensive health histories from emergency patients
Complete accurate physical assessments
Plan treatment based on patient assessments
Prioritize rapidly as circumstances change
Manage angry or combative patient and family interactions
Requirements: Graduate of an accredited nursing school as an RN
Clinical experience in an Emergency Department
Current RN licensure in Vermont
Current BLS Certification
ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or ENPC certification within one year
Use emergency nursing assessment, treatment planning, communication, and decision-making skills during flexible 12-hour shifts.
