Shape estimating for commercial cladding projects across Ontario with Specified, applying solid commercial awareness and building envelope expertise.
As Senior Estimator, you will help establish Specified’s dedicated Architectural Facades division. You will prepare accurate, competitive estimates while engaging general contractors, consultants, architects, suppliers, and manufacturers. The position also supports business development, strategic planning, market monitoring, and relationships across Ontario’s commercial construction community.
Key Responsibilities: Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations
Develop accurate budgets, estimates, and tender submissions
Attend pre-tender meetings, site visits, and client meetings
Build relationships with contractors, consultants, architects, and manufacturers




Monitor material pricing, market conditions, and industry trends
Requirements: Eight-plus years of commercial cladding or building envelope estimating experience
Thorough understanding of commercial construction practices and contract documentation
Excellent mathematical, analytical, communication, and negotiation abilities
Organization and detail focus managing multiple tenders under deadlines
Bluebeam, AutoCAD, estimating software, or take-off tools considered an asset
Use commercial construction knowledge and client-focused estimating skills to support Specified’s Architectural Facades growth across Ontario.
