Design process control systems with BBA in Thunder Bay or Sudbury, applying PLC, HMI, DCS and instrumentation expertise. This regular position supports Central Canada projects.
As an intermediate process control engineer, you will contribute across engineering phases, from front-end studies through field implementation, with detailed engineering emphasis. You will support mining and energy projects while coordinating technical quality, scope execution, budgets, schedules and regional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities: Develop work packages for major process control systems
Execute instrumentation, automation and control scopes
Lead P&IDs;, specifications, schematics, networks and panel designs
Design, program, integrate and commission control systems




Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior team members
Requirements: Electrical engineering degree or equivalent
Over four years of mining or energy experience
Registered P.Eng. in Ontario, Canada
Process control design, programming, integration and commissioning experience
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
Apply process control, instrumentation and technical leadership skills across BBA’s Central Canada mining and energy engineering projects.
