You will shape architecture, policy models, and reusable controls across identity, permissions, and governance. The work supports reliable, consistent deployment of Perplexity across organizational environments.
Key Responsibilities: Build fine-grained permissions for connectors, tools, models, and effort levels
Set authorization standards for correctness, reliability, and tenant isolation
Design secure admin APIs for roles, groups, members, and settings




Deliver audit logs and notifications supporting investigation and compliance
Partner across Product, Design, Security, Sales, and Customer Success
Requirements: Four or more years of software engineering experience
Backend systems ownership from design through production operation
Solid system design for scalable, multi-tenant SaaS platforms
Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust
Experience with AWS and Kubernetes cloud infrastructure
