This Journeyman Power-Lineman position supports overhead distribution and transmission work within Western Pacific Enterprises, Ltd., a MYR Group company. You will tune lines to strict specifications, install equipment, and supervise Groundmen and Apprentices. Strong safety awareness and communication are required.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain and repair overhead distribution and transmission lines
Set poles for electrical line construction projects
String current wire and maintain existing wire
Tune overhead lines to required specifications and stagger
Install and maintain insulators, transformers, and related equipment
Requirements: Presently qualified as a Journeyman Power-Lineman
Required documentation showing program completion
Valid driver’s license
Ability to work at heights up to and above 100 feet
Ability to follow workplace directions and safety rules
Bring overhead transmission experience, equipment maintenance capability, and safety discipline to Western Pacific Enterprises line construction.
