Coordinate manufacturing procurement through supplier negotiations, delivery follow-up, and purchasing documentation. This role works Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm.
As Strategic Supply Chain Lead, you will support manufacturing by securing materials, tooling, services, and outsourced work. You will request quotations, negotiate pricing, timing, and quality, then follow supplier progress after purchase orders. The role also connects purchasing with receiving and quality.
Key Responsibilities: Communicate with suppliers about pricing, timing, and quality
Follow purchase orders through timely supplier delivery
Communicate expected shipments with receiving
Assist with receiving, compliance, and purchased-item documentation




Resolve vendor quality or timing issues with Project Manager
Requirements: Five or more years purchasing experience, preferably manufacturing
Experience reading engineering and manufacturing drawings considered an asset
Machining industry experience considered an asset
ERP systems experience considered an asset
Criminal record check and controlled goods screening required
Use manufacturing procurement, vendor negotiation, delivery coordination, and quality communication skills in this supply chain leadership role.
