Night-shift Industrial Electricians maintain plant equipment through electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, and variable frequency drive programming at Maple Leaf Foods.
This Industrial Electrician supports Maple Leaf Foods’ Maintenance Team during overnight production operations. The work includes electrical systems, mechanical equipment, instrumentation, controls, and programmable logic controller systems. The position helps maintain secure plant operations and equipment supporting daily food production.
Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical and mechanical processing equipment
Program and maintain variable frequency drives and motor controls
Repair systems from 24V through 575V, including three-phase systems
Read schematics, wiring diagrams,



and logic or flow diagrams
Complete preventative maintenance, work orders, and SAP records
Requirements: Journeyman Ticket or Red Seal Electrician Certification required
Own hand tools; power tools are provided
Strong plant and equipment operations knowledge
Ability to work overnight shifts and weekend overtime
Physical capability to handle equipment exceeding 25 kilograms
Apply electrical, mechanical, controls, and troubleshooting expertise while supporting safe overnight production at Maple Leaf Foods.
