Lead civil design for complex nuclear projects at AtkinsRéalis in Mississauga, using 2D/3D CAD and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering deliverables.
As a Senior Civil Designer, you will support Ontario current builds, international projects, refurbishments, and plant operation modifications. The work includes plot plans, plant layouts, equipment layouts, design reviews, scope coordination, and CAD procedures. You will also provide technical leadership across project teams.
Key Responsibilities: Lead system-level plot plan and layout design
Review design deliverables for accuracy and consistency
Identify design issues and manage schedule impacts
Coordinate scope changes with project teams
Coach others in technical and CAD skills
Requirements: College diploma or equivalent work experience
Minimum nine years in mechanical design and drafting
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and AutoCAD Plant 3D
Experience with Revit, Navisworks Manage, and Tekla
Knowledge of NBCC, CSA, or ASME codes considered an asset
